barn wedding amazingness

September 13, 2011

this past weekend my amazingly talented friend, mary, got married!! and now she is mrs mary hartman, is that not the most adorable name ever? and i am so honored to say that i made her wedding dress which was such a fun experience!

mary is a photographer and one of her most favorite photographers, eric clausen, took the pictures for her wedding, he stayed at her sister and brother-in-laws house (which by the way is quite honestly the most unbelievably coolest house i have ever stepped in), and he just hung out and took pictures of them all week!–can you believe that? that would be like my favorite fashion designer staying at my house and hanging out with me while making my dream dress–like, what the crap! that’s awesome!

but anyways, this was the most amazing wedding i have ever been to. it took place right next to a barn in this huge field and the reception was in the barn with old fashion music and twinkle lights and homemade pies everywhere–it was a dream! i CAN NOT wait to see the photos and show you guys…in the mean time, here are some pictures that we took!

i found a frog.

this entire week was incredibly gloomy and i never saw the sun even once. about an hour before the ceremony, the skies opened up! the weather was beautiful and the sun was super super bright and the minute the ceremony was done, dark clouds started rolling in and it was raining like crazy! it was so cool being in the barn with the big doors opened all around and just seeing it go crazy outside! my sister took this picture after the big storm when it started to calm down for a couple of minutes and it was really foggy. it was an amazing time! the sun coming out during the ceremony was so cool, seeing how God  does little things like that in our lives can mean so much and is such a reassuring fact of how much he cares about us!

here’s a glimpse of the beautiful couple (and a peak of the dress)! they are seriously so cute and both such talented artists! hopefully the professional photographs will be published soon!

p.s. check out the newly married MR hartman’s website! he is an IN-SANE-LY insane graphic designer/illustrator…i’ll have to share more about his work later…

Your dress and shoes are amazing! I’ve been in contact with Mary recently, after seeing her talented work around cleveland. How amazing to see she got married, and in what seems to be the most wonderful ceremony and to another amazing artist! best wishes to the both of them. PS: you’re shoes are awesome. I could never pull it off, but you do with such ease!!

This is the appropriate blog for anyone who desires to search out out about this topic. You realize so much its almost onerous to argue with you (not that I actually would need?HaHa). You positively put a brand new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!
