Tea Time!
The other day Tara and I stopped by our friend Emily’s house for an hour of tea. A Tea Time. A Tea Time with Emily. So here’s the thing about Emily: she is the real life “New Girl” character. Emily is a teacher, loves to sing, loves children, loves to sing TO her students [who are children], has cute teacher outfits, and [I recently discovered] she gives the most real Tea Time experience ever. Not only does E-Bz have these cute Anthro mugs and adorable little tea set things, but she also provided pieces of toast, different flavored jams and butters, milks and sugars for the tea, and tea cookies! It was all arranged on the table upon our arrival like a good proper lady would do! Tea Time was one of the most adorable, hospitable hours of inspiration I can imagine! Nobody has Tea Time like this while catching up with friends anymore, but I am declaring a revolution for Tea Time right now!
P.S. Something I learned from Tea Time with Emily [officially trademarked] was how to make tea EXTRA warm and delicious! I usually put, if anything, some natural honey in my tea. But Emily made Tara’s tea, which she loved so much, so Tara made my tea after that. She put a bit of milk in the tea with a spoon full of sugar. This is probably normal for most people but I have never done that before! It tastes so warm and grandmotherly-like.

This is such a delightful post I enjoyed reading every second of it!
Aww thanks Lil’ Beth! Join the revolution with me!
